Kerri's Love
Kerri Lyn Clemens, 57, of Amarillo, passed away September 9, 2024, with her loved ones at her side. She was born March 25, 1967, in Lubbock, Texas.
A Celebration of Kerri’s beautiful life will be held at 11:00 a.m. this Thursday, September 12, 2024, at MORE Church, 5511 W. Amarillo Blvd., Amarillo, Texas.
Winning doesn’t always look the same. Kerri has won her battle with cancer.
“Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?” (1 Cor. 15:55)
Kerri remains the victor, just as she did on the earth. In her own words, “I am a professional, feminine woman. I love traveling, thunderstorms, cooking, theatre, sports, and laughing until it hurts, and of course, the beach with my toes in the sand.”
She loved family time with her “Stinkie” (niece) and “Thunder Wonder” (nephew.) She always had a DIY project going, oftentimes, more than one!
Last, but not least, Kerri spent over 30 years as a Registered Nurse, educating and inspiring young nurses. In the last 10 years, Kerri served as the Director of Professional Services for BSA Hospice of the Southwest. Kerri loves her Hospice team!
Kerri is survived by her spouse, Mandy, and a spoiled dog, Oakley Grace; her mother, Maryiln Clemens of Amarillo; her brother, Justin Clemens and wife Sandy of Corpus Christi; her sister, Kelee Pride and husband Jordan of Bushland; her father-in-law, Gary Morton; her mother-in-law Suzie Morton; her sister-in-law, Cody Morton; her nieces and nephews, Connor, Caleb, Callie, Cody, Kyla, Chase, Chloe, and Thunder, as well as great-nephews, Ashton, Carter, and coming soon, Rowen. Kerri is also survived by many friends whom she considered family.
